I am a qualified and insured Blue Badge Tourist Guide, member of the Institute of Tourist Guides, and registered with the British Guild of Tourist Guides. I use their guidelines for charges, terms and conditions as a commercial baseline for arrangements with clients and agents.

Your time on holiday is precious so contact me for my availability to fit around your free time.

Flexibility is however the key, and I am also very open to arrangements with travel operators, tour organisers or private individuals which allow me to add unique value on a bespoke basis. I'm experienced in offering bespoke tours, working alongside chauffeurs and offering clients a very happy and memorable day out.

Private walking tours are individually tailored to suit and so the fee is according to length of tour, not always dependent on the number of participants. For example, "Industry and the Arts in Ambleside" is proving to be a popular one for small groups.

Popular walks include Beatrix Potter's Hawkshead or Ambleside's Vikings to Victorians or a guided tour around the church with its unique Rushbearing mural, Henry Holiday and William Wailes stained glass, sculptures by Josefina de Vasconcellos and of course the William Wordsworth memorial chapel.
